If you’ve known me for any length of time, you know I absolutely love and am so passionate about confessing the Word of God. If you want to learn more about how daily confessions changed my life, read about that here.
At the start of every year, it is so beneficial to have a list of scripture you are confessing over your life because the Word of God does not return to Him void (Isaiah 55:11). I know it’s important to declare affirmations, but I am a strong proponent for affirmations being based on scripture.
God’s Word is the highest truth concerning our lives. There is nothing more powerful or greater than God’s Word! Because His Word will not return to Him void, we can actually rest knowing that His Word will become true in our lives because that is what the Word says.
How many times can I say the word, word? LOL.
But I wanted to provide you with a list of scripture that you can declare this year. I recognize that the list is super long, but I wanted to provide you with as many as possible so that you can always refer back to this list throughout the year.
There’s a printout that you can download at the bottom of this blog post. I encourage you to print it out and place it somewhere near you where you can see it every single morning whether that’s on your mirror at home or on your desk at work.
If you’d like to learn more about confessions and how to declare God’s word over your life, I actually wrote a devotional book on this very topic, and you can purchase that book here. Without further ado, here are declarations for your new year.
